Make this easy sheet pan vegetables recipe for a sweet and tangy broccoli side dish that is perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the honey mustard glaze.
  3. Place the broccoli florets in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Pour the honey mustard glaze over the broccoli. Toss gently until all the florets are well coated.
  5. Spread the coated broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Do not overcrowd the pan; use two sheets if necessary to promote crisping.
  6. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and slightly caramelized.
  7. Serve immediately as a quick dinner side idea.

Notes

  • For a bit of brightness, add 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice to the glaze mixture.
  • If you prefer a less sweet flavor, substitute half of the honey with maple syrup.
  • To ensure even cooking, cut the broccoli florets into uniform sizes before tossing with the sauce.
