Make this quick and easy frozen strawberry daiquiri in your blender using real strawberries for a perfectly smooth, icy summer cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 2 ounces white rum (like Bacardi)
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 ounce simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 0.5 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: Sugar for rimming glasses

Instructions

  1. If you want a sugar rim, run a lime wedge around the edge of your serving glasses and dip the rims into a shallow plate of sugar. Set the glasses aside.
  2. Place the frozen strawberries, white rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes into a high-powered blender.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a thick, slushy texture. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. Taste the mixture and add a little more simple syrup if you prefer more sweetness. Blend again briefly.
  5. Pour the frozen strawberry daiquiri immediately into your prepared glasses.
  6. Serve this refreshing frozen drink right away.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic daiquiri (virgin strawberry daiquiri), omit the rum and substitute with 1-2 ounces of water or a splash of lime-lemon soda for liquid volume.
  • To make a pitcher-sized batch, multiply all ingredients by the desired number of servings and blend in batches if your blender capacity is limited.
  • Use frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones plus extra ice to achieve the best icy texture for this blender cocktail.
