  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  2. Sprinkle the steak evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss gently to coat the meat.
  3. Pour the beef broth over the steak cubes.
  4. Scatter the pieces of butter over the top of the steak.
  5. Add the minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.
  6. Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or on HIGH for 2 hours, until the steak is tender.
  7. Stir the steak bites gently before serving to distribute the melted butter sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately over mashed potatoes or rice.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can sear the steak cubes in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side before adding them to the slow cooker.
  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the steak near the end of cooking and mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water, then stir into the liquid in the slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 10 minutes until thickened.
  • This recipe works well with sirloin or tenderloin cuts for the best texture.
