You can make this creamy dill pickle dip in under 10 minutes. It uses simple ingredients like cream cheese and sour cream for a tangy, salty flavor that is perfect for game day or any party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice (reserved from the jar)
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain the chopped dill pickles, reserving 1/4 cup of the pickle juice.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Use a hand mixer or a sturdy spoon to mix until the base is completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the finely chopped dill pickles, reserved pickle juice, dried dill weed, garlic powder, and black pepper to the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Stir everything together until the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  5. Taste the dip and add more pickle juice or salt if you prefer a tangier flavor.
  6. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  7. Serve your cold dip with potato chips, pretzels, or fresh vegetables for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of flavor, you can substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt for a slightly lighter texture.
  • If you want a crunchier texture, reserve a few tablespoons of chopped pickles to fold in just before serving.
  • This dip is excellent for game day snacks and pairs well with salty snacks.
