Make this warm, cheesy baked garlic bread dip for your next gathering. It combines roasted garlic, cream cheese, and mozzarella for a rich, comforting appetizer perfect for dipping crusty bread.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 loaf crusty bread, sliced for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8-inch oven-safe skillet or baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  3. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, minced roasted garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Top the dip with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is hot throughout and the cheese on top is melted and lightly golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
  8. Serve immediately with slices of warm, crusty bread for dipping.

Notes

  • To roast garlic quickly, wrap whole heads in foil with a drizzle of olive oil and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. Squeeze out the soft cloves before mincing.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture up to 24 hours ahead; cover and refrigerate, then add the top layer of cheese before baking.
  • This hot appetizer pairs well with crostini or sturdy crackers if you run out of bread.
