Create a showstopping, rich, and creamy layered dessert featuring Baileys Irish Cream. This no-bake trifle is an indulgent sweet treat perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
  • 1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (10 ounces) chocolate wafer cookies or Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup Baileys Irish Cream liqueur (for soaking cookies)
  • Chocolate shavings or extra cookie crumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cookie layer: In a bowl, mix the crushed chocolate cookies with 1/4 cup of Baileys Irish Cream. Set aside.
  2. Make the cheesecake layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Fold in 1/2 cup of Baileys Irish Cream until just combined.
  3. Prepare the chocolate pudding layer: Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk according to package directions until thickened.
  4. Assemble the trifle: Use a large glass trifle bowl or individual serving glasses. Start with a layer of the Baileys-soaked cookie crumbs at the bottom.
  5. Add the next layer of chocolate pudding.
  6. Top the pudding with half of the Baileys cheesecake mixture, spreading evenly.
  7. Repeat the layers: Add another layer of cookie crumbs, followed by the remaining chocolate pudding.
  8. Finish with the remaining Baileys cheesecake mixture on top.
  9. Chill the trifle for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the layers to set.
  10. Before serving, garnish the top with chocolate shavings or extra cookie crumbs.

Notes

  • For an extra boozy flavor, you can substitute a portion of the milk used for the pudding with more Baileys, adjusting the amount based on your preference.
  • If you want a firmer cheesecake layer, chill the cream cheese mixture before folding in the whipped cream.
  • This make ahead party dessert tastes best when assembled a day in advance.
